Picture a wooded valley, hidden deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside and yet near the coast, with a stream of clear water flowing through, sheltered by trees on three sides and a gently terraced hillside to the north. At its lowest part there are ponds and a lake, skirted by woodland paths and levels of grasses, fringed by wild flowers. Amongst the changing colours of wild flowers and the splendid woods, Forda's residents include many species of birds, duck and geese, wildfowl, badgers, roe deer and rabbits. With motorways and new roads, this tranquillity is now within easy reach - London within 4 1/2 hours, the Midlands 4 hours & Bristol 2 hours.

Originally a traditional Cornish farmstead, Forda today is a small and select holiday setting where cleverly designed lodges and cottages have been constructed to blend into the surroundings and carefully located to provide privacy.

Forda is privately owned and managed by the Chibbett family who live at Forda in the old farmhouse and take great pride in ensuring that all their guests have a relaxing and peaceful holiday in this wonderful and idyllic location.

Forda is a place for all seasons. Winters are generally short and mild and Spring comes early, with its wildflowers and migratory birds. Cornish summers at their best are long and hot and have no equal anywhere in Britain. The days can stay mild throughout the Autumn, with its wonderful ever changing colours.
